Parks

Take some time to unwind and visit one of the many parks throughout Middlesex County. Enjoy playgrounds and splashpads, sports fields and courts, or just savour some quiet time alone with your thoughts.
Newbury Community Park & Splash Pad
Newbury Community Park and Splash Pad is located in Newbury Ontario.
Optimist Skate Park
The Mount Brydges Optimist Skatepark has been a staple of the town for a number of years now. It has all the typical ramps and obstacles one would expect to find at one of these parks. The pyramid at the center of the park is short and great for beginners. The ramps on either side of the park do not have any coping bars, but there is plenty of space to play on.
Parkhill Coronation Park
Coronation Park is located in Parkhill, Ontario.
Poplar Hill Park
Poplar Hill Park is used largely by residents for picnics and various gatherings such as the Poplar Hill Picnic, given the large pavilion that can accommodate up to five events at once. Also located at the park is a playground, two lit ball diamonds, a grandstand, monument, historic log house, and washroom facilities.
Project 2000
Project 2000 is a sports field that offers a soccer, baseball and skatepark.
Simpson Street Park
Simpson Street Park is located at the corner of Anderson Avenue and Simpson Street. It has a baseball diamond, playground and pavilion.
Strathroy Skate Park
Skate park located in Strathroy. Great for beginners and the more experienced skater to use.
Thorndale Community Park
The Thorndale Community Park is home to one lit baseball diamond and three non-lit diamonds, three mini soccer fields, one intermediate, and one large field and public washrooms.
Uptown Park & Cenopath
This parkette has been a part of Mount Brydges for many decades. It has a new playground and a splash pad. There is also a picnic pavilion, a WWI cenotaph at the front of the park and parking.
Van Dyk Park
Van Dyk Park shares the Van Dyk soccer fields with Yorkview Community Park. The park features a playground, regional baseball and soccer complex, with concession and washroom facilities. The soccer fields are named in memory of Mr. Henk Van Dyk, a long-time soccer supporter and community leader.
