Take some time to unwind and visit one of the many parks throughout Middlesex County.  Enjoy playgrounds and splashpads, sports fields and courts, or just savour some quiet time alone with your thoughts.

Alexandra Park

Founded in 1901 on the former "Bixel Flats", Alexandra Park is the largest park in Strathroy-Caradoc. Bordered by the Sydenham River and the J.W. Oakes Wildlife Sanctuary and Arboretum, Alexandra Park offers a serene setting for the enjoyment of residents and visitors alike. The Park is home to Rotary Splashpad, a baseball diamond, picnic pavilions, accessible playground, Strathroy Water Trail, washroom facilities and parking.

Delaware Lions Park

Lions Park is an active park located in Delaware and includes a number of outdoor facilities including an unlit ball diamond, one full and two mini soccer fields, two unlit tennis courts, and an outdoor ball hockey rink. The ball hockey rink was constructed with the assistance of the Delaware Lions Club. Also located at this Park is the Delaware Library.

Denfield Park

Denfield Park features a lit ball diamond, unlit tennis court, full basketball court, playground, and a pavilion.

Dorchester Community Park

Dorchester Community Park is located in Dorchester, Ontario and includes two lit baseball diamonds and two non-lit diamonds, a soccer field and public washrooms.

East Williams Optimist Park

The East Williams’ Optimist Park is located in the beautiful hamlet of Nairn. This park is the primary soccer complex for North Middlesex, boasting 1 full-size soccer pitch along with several smaller pitches. This park also has a playground and a pavilion. During the winter months, the pavilion surface becomes an outdoor skating rink which is used by many residents.

Granton Lion's Park

Granton Park offers a tennis court, basketball court, soccer field, baseball diamond, playground equipment and pavilion (with attached kitchen). In the winter the park also offers an outdoor skating rink, maintained by the Granton Park Committee. The park is also home to the Granton Community Garden.

Heritage Park

Heritage Park is well used by residents of Ilderton given its convenient location near the centre of the community. The park has one lit and one unlit ball diamond, and a small t-ball diamond. Most of the equipment in this park has been updated, including the playground, splash pad and skateboard park. Also within this park is a pavilion and washrooms that are housed in an older, barn-style building.
