Join us at Arrowwood Farm & Events for an evening concert with folk duo Jocelyn Pettit & Ellen Gira. With Jocelyn on fiddle and Ellen on cello, they push boundaries between traditional and contemporary genres to create a powerfully uplifting and soulful performance. On stage, their instruments weave a rhythmic, textured sound with nuanced fiddle-cello interplay. Complemented with vocal harmonies and lively stepdancing, they bring life and fire into original tunes, and high-energy repertoire from Scotland, Ireland, North America, and Scandinavia. FolkWorld Magazine calls them “A dazzling duo!”.
We are quite excited to have them bring their lively and enchanting music to Arrowwood Farm. We will be in the lovely Summerhouse pavilion, so bring your sweater!
You can purchase tickets for Dinner with the Artist, or the concert only. We will have Ontario wines and craft beer available at the bar, including Lemon Blueberry Sour from Forked River Brewing (made with our blueberries), our own non-alcoholic sparkling Blueberry Lemonade as well as other refreshments.
Doors open at 5:30 for dinner, with dinner served at 6pm. The concert is at 7:30pm.
